Finally, it is just about time to begin our travels to Thailand. I cannot wait to get on that plane to relax! It’s been kind of stressful round here lately with organizing our move back to the States, tying up loose ends for Thailand, and buying a new car! Yep, we aren’t too keen on taking our 1987 Volvo that has no power steering and drives on the right side back to the US so we thought we’d be better off buying a new car. Now, we have never owned a car made in the ’90’s even so we are pretty stoked to have just wrapped up a deal to buy a 2007 Toyota Matrix! So just after landing in Chicago we will be off to Madison to pick up our brand spanking new car. Wicked.

Now that the car deal is wrapped up, I can fully relax in Thailand. Not that we will be relaxing necessarily, but at least I won’t have too many things running around inside my dome and I can concentrate on just how much spice I am putting into my Thai curry in our cooking class. Very important – don’t want to ruin a good dish!
