I have to admit, I saw this on another blog, but it’s pretty damn funny!
Best DUI Ever
I have to admit, I saw this on another blog, but it’s pretty damn funny!
Seriously, it’s not just 1 friend but multiple who have had little munchkins in the past month, and even more in the past 6 months - I can’t keep up with them all!! Some have had their first and others are on to their 2nd and 3rd already. Well, 8 and a half years later (of marriage that is) there are still no rugrats in our house, just our puppies who are keeping us busy enough! And on top of all the babies, Kristin got married this weekend in Boise and Lauren was married 3 weeks ago in Jamaica.
Luckily, Ben and I were fortunate enough to be in Boise for Kristin and Joe’s wedding this weekend. It was a super quick trip but well worth it. Not only was it a fantastic wedding but it was a semi-reunion of Lipton riders, too. Nicole, Lara, Lauren, Liza (’06), Kori and myself were there to make sure that Kristin didn’t go empty handed all night - oh, and of course, to wish her and Joe a happy and prosperous life together. It was pretty cool to see others who blew in to town for the big event as well - Julie and Craig Upton, Jim and Angela Miller, Kimberly Baldwin, Chopper, and Boisians Laura Downey, Corey Hart and Sima Trapp. And we didn’t even screw anything up at the wedding! We had talked about making a scene somehow, like walking in late to the ceremony or giving an obnoxious toast, but knowing how type A Kristin is, she would have killed us so behaved ourselves throughout the evening… that is until we hit the town and really let loose. Ah, good times, good times.
Anyone have any cross country skiis or snow shoes for sale? The snow has been threatening to fall anytime now and I want to be better prepared this winter than I was last for the outdoors during a CO winter. I REFUSE to sit on a trainer for 14 hours/week again so I have got to get some sort of winter gear to keep my sanity. I about lost it last winter, and trust me, it wasn’t pretty. Besides, I think I watched all the brainless, senseless, crap comedy last year so there can’t be many more of those movies to provide enough entertainment this year. Really, “Blades of Glory” ain’t going to cut it.
Anyway, congratulations to all of my friends out there who have given birth to beautiful children and who have signed their lives away on the dotted line..and good luck to you as well.
Adios
